How do I register ?

Click on the register button to go to registration page, complete the form and click submit button.

Why call rates are so cheap at Nindino ?

Nindino offers voip minutes to almost any destination in the world.

We use open source and our own custom tools. This reduces our expenditure and saves you money.

Additionally we are not a reseller of any other voip company, we purchase voip minutes in bulk quantities and the discount is transferred to you.

What is 'Recharge / Top-up Credit' menu for ?

Once your account has been activated with your initial purchase, you will be able to top-up your account any time in future without changing your sip details.

Any purchase you make will be added to your existing account.

What is 'SIP Details' area in MyAccount page for ?

Each active account has a sip account(voucher) associated with it. Generally you don't use it as long as you have your telephone numbers registered with Nindino.

You need these details if you are calling from a phone, which is not registered with nindino or you are using any 3rd party softphones.

If you have purchased your voucher from an agent, you can add your voucher to your existing account under 'SIP Details' area so as to activate the account. Once your account has been activated, your agent can then top-up your account without needing to create vouchers in future.

What is 'Register My Phone Numbers' area in MyAccount page for ?

You need to register your phone numbers for an automatic authentication of your account, which means any calls from your registered phone numbers will be authenticated automatically without needing to enter a PIN number.

You can register as many phone numbers as you like.

I live in USA, should I dial '00' or '011' with my destination number ?

Always use '00' with your destination no matter where you are calling from. So for example indian number +9148412345678 need to be dialed as 009148412345678.

How do I submit a support ticket ?

If you are an existing customer, login to your account, click on 'Support Tickets' under 'Help & Support' section in your myaccount page.

How do I download the softphone ?

How do I configure the softphone?

Nindino softphone:

If you are using Nindino softphone just use your registered email address and password to login.

Other softphones:

If you are using any other dialer than Nindino configure it with the following:

  • Username: (Check your email or see it here)
    Display name, Authorization username and CallerId are the same as your username
  • Password: (Check your email or see it here)
  • SIP Server/Real/Domain or Proxy: sip.nindino.com
  • Leave all other settings as default

I already use a SIP client, can I use it with Nindino?

Yes, you can use almost all sip client phones with nindino as long as you configure it as explained here.

Can I use a SIP client on a mobile phone ?

Yes, connect your mobile Internet provider through GPRS or 3G, you may then use the clients listed in the Help page and configure accordingly.

Please note your mobile operator may charge you for Internet usage.

I cannot login to Nindino dialer but I can login at the website.

Check remaining credits in your account, you will not be able to login if you have a zero credit.

If you think you have enough credit and still getting 'Not logged in' message, click on 'Advanced' tab in your dialer and select the right network connection in 'Network' dropdown list. This has to be the one connecting to internet. If you are using a router it will be something like "192.168.x.y", "172.16.x.y" or "10.x.y.x"

Am I using the latest dialer, how do I know ?

Click the 'update' under 'Help' menu to check if you are using the latest Nindino dialer.

If you are using older version, we recommend you uninstall your Nindino software and download & install the latest one from our website.

 
Callback

What is a call-back?

To initiate a call-back please dial 00441234510068 from any country, you will not incur any charge and your call will be disconnected automatically. Nindino will call you back immediately. You will then be asked to enter your destination number. Please make sure you wait until the balance announcement is finished to enter your destination number.
You will need to register your number (mobile or land line) for call-back to work.

Why do I need to register my phone number?

By registering your phone number we automatically authenticate your call and do not need to enter your username or pin. Please note that you will not be called back if your phone number is not registered. When registering your phone number please make sure you enter your full phone number with international code. for eg: A UK customer with phone number 1212898989 will register his phone number as 0044121289898.

Why callback is expensive compared to other calls ?

Call back is actually two calls; one from Nindino to your phone and the second one to your destination. So the total charge will be sum of these two calls. First leg starts billing as soon as you attend the callback from Nindino and the second leg starts belling when the receiving party answers the call.

Why I get billed even if other party didn't answer the call in callback ?

Call back is actually two calls; one from Nindino to your phone(first leg) and the second one to your destination(second leg). First leg starts billing as soon as you attend the callback from Nindino. So you will be charged for the first leg even though second leg didn't establish.

 
Access number

What is an access number

An access number allows you to call your international destinations by calling a local number. Currently nindino offers this facility only for customers in the UK, USA and Australia.

Do I need to register my phone number to call the access number?

Yes, registering your phone number allows nindino to automatically authenticate you. If you donot register, you will be prompted to enter your pin number every time you call the access number. When registering your phone number please make sure you enter your full phone number with international code. for eg: A UK customer with phone number 1212898989 will register his/her phone number as 0044121289898.

What is your access number in the UK and what is the cost to me?

It is 012345 220 67. Calls are charged at normal landline call rate from landline phones and maybe included in your free minutes from your phone or mobile provider. Please check with your provider. We will debit your account in nindino according to the destination number you dial.

Calling from my cell/mobile phone

How to call from my mobile/cell ?

Calling from mobile number can use different calling methods depending on your mobile phone type or your location, where you initiate your call:

  • Use Fring: This is the cheapest way, you will enjoy the same low fair advertised on our website. Download and set-up Fring from here.

  • Access Number: If you live in USA, UK, Australia or Canada you can call our access number from your mobile to enjoy our same low rate.

  • Call Back: If the above two won't work for you, callback is the only solution left. Callback is easy to use and your mobile phone will not be billed for it as the calls are made from nindino. Please note that using callback you will be paying for two call rates, one to your mobile and the other one to the actual destination. See our rate calculator for details.

Agent / Reseller Account

How do I start my agent account ?

Register an account at http://www.nindino.com, make a deposit of $50 and contact our support team. Your account will be activated as soon as the payment is cleared.

For bank transfer details see the payment page on checkout or agent top-up page.

You can pay us directly with cash where our agents are working, please contact us for details about direct cash payment.

What is the benefit of having a reseller account with Nindino?

As an agent you will have your own customer management area in your myaccount section. You can top-up your account, create vouchers, manage vouchers, etc. There is no restriction on the price of the vouchers that you resell.

I am an agent, how do I resell nindino to my customers ?

Once your agent account has been activated, you will be provided with an agent control panel in your myaccount page.

Agent control panel lets you do the the following:

  • Create New Vouchers: You can create vouchers for different amounts like 5,10,15,20,25,50,etc., these vouchers will then appear under your 'Manage Vouchers' area.

    You can create as many vouchers as you like, as long as you are in your available credit limit.

  • Manage Vouchers: Each voucher has a username and password associated with it. You need to pass these details to your customer, your customer will than add this voucher under 'SIP Details' section in their myaccount page. A user can add only one card to an account.

    Next time whenever your customer needs a top-up you can top-up his/her account.

  • Agent Credits & Top-UP: This is to top-up your agent credit so as to generate more vouchers for your customers
